As part of the Ballarat Winter Festival, Hidden Lanes invites you to experience one of Ballarat's most atmospheric winter events. Begin the evening with a guided heritage tour through selected historic spaces within Craig's Royal Hotel, uncovering stories of gold rush fortunes, distinguished guests and the remarkable history of one of Australia's grandest hotels.
Following the tour, guests will gather in the historic Prince's Room for a candlelit two-course dinner accompanied by live cello music. Beneath the glow of candlelight, enjoy fine food, conversation and stories that evoke the spirit of Ballarat's golden age.
With just 24 guests, Wintertide by Candlelight offers a rare opportunity to experience Craig's Royal Hotel in an intimate and memorable setting.
