10:00am — Ballarat City Tales

Meet your Hidden Lanes guide in central Ballarat for a relaxed, story-rich walking tour through the city’s historic streets, hidden laneways and grand Victorian architecture.

Along the way, hear stories of gold, ambition, rebellion and the colourful characters who shaped Ballarat, with an included coffee, chai or hot chocolate during the morning.

12:30pm — Transfer to the Botanical Gardens

At the conclusion of City Tales, make your own way to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Transport is not included.

1:00pm — Private Vintage High Tea

Your Hidden Lanes host will welcome you to a beautifully styled vintage picnic overlooking Lake Wendouree.

Enjoy a curated selection of sweet and savoury treats served with vintage teaware while hearing stories of the gardens, the lake and Ballarat’s social history.
